Customer & Communications Administrator – Job Description

Salary: £27,000

Job purpose:

This role reports into the Commercial team. This person will be responsible for managing customer communications across the group through the various channels that we have from social media to telephone calls. This person will help post social media updates. They will help the commercial team with tender submissions and the management of the various commercial technological assets.

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage Customer Services across the group responding where necessary.
  • Manage social media platforms across the group.
  • Assist in the creation of images and content for social media and websites.
  • Assist in the creation of information for roadside and bus stops.
  • Administration for the commercial team
  • Manage fares, ticketing, and machines.
  • Manage the upload of duties and fares into the ticket machine.
  • Manage siri feeds to external stakeholders such as NPTI and Passenger
  • Ensure the operation is BODs compliant.
  • Help manage the Fuel Duty Rebate process.
  • Help collate the data for Concessionary fare submissions.
  • Gathering data and policies for tender submissions
  • Maintaining and up to date vehicle fleet list of location etc…
  • And anything else required of you by the commercial team.

Candidate skills:

  • A desire to help the business provide a great service to the customer.
  • Great a communication both internally and with our customers
  • Ability to respond to customers in an informative and professional manner.
  • Experience with IT systems e.g., MS office, social media and the ability to learn and use new technologies.
  • Ability to write reports and collate data into an easily understandable format.
  • The desire and ability to take on new ideas and additional work.

  • Full driving licence, the ability to drive a bus would be desirable but not essential.

Working environment:

The position is based at a Company operating centre. This could include our Bristol site or our Poole site. The post-holder may also be required to work at other
Company sites undertaking any other duties as required by the business and is commensurate to the role.

The post will involve having access to information and data of a confidential nature; thus the successful applicant is required to adhere to the Data Protection Act as well as the Companies confidentiality policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bristol City Centre, Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
